Active Art Workshops

Active Art offers a variety of workshops for all ages, abilities, groups and organisations. Workshops may be offered during the week, after school hours, weekends and school holidays.

Different Workshops on Offer…

  • Kids - Youth - Teens

    Each session is holistic, sensory, fun-filled, designed to help participants learn, imagine, create and explore. Participants are encouraged to follow their own creativity and believe in their own unique abilities. No artistic experience required.

  • Adult

    This is a program for adults, where you can create and share with like-minded people who may be absolute beginners wanting to learn and try a new skill, continuing to expand their skills from the last workshops or emerging and professional artists wanting to carve out time to create (watercolour, sketching, acrylics, inks, clay, collage, paint-pouring, lino-cut, printing and more) offered evenings, during the term.

  • Art Wellbeing Workshops

    Wellbeing workshops with specific themes to explore, where art is used as the therapeutic tool to express outcomes. Participants will be guided through techniques to create designs or follow along. Themes can include;Self-discovery, goal-setting, body-image and empowerment, setting boundaries, self-discovery and resilience, after the fires etc.

  • Art & Sip

    Art & Sip workshops offer participants an artistic journey with acrylic paints, clay, watercolours or other mediums where you can immerse yourself in beautiful mediums to create a piece that represents you or follow a step by step guided tutorial. A fun-filled event with optional beverages to sip as you create.

  • Painting For Parkinson's

    A ten week program where participants use watercolours and Steiner inspired principals to create art. Fine motor skills are developed through repetition, social interactions are created and art is used as a therapeutic tool to assist individuals through various personal stages of their life.

  • Playgroup (3B's)

    Interactive, hands-on workshops created for pre-school children and cares. Educational, creative.

  • Embracing Babies and ABA Workshops

    For parents and babies. Workshops where parents can connect and feel empowered to create art for themselves while juggling parenthood. Themes include; parenthood, connections, sleep and hormonal changes, sense of self and identity, managing expectations, normalising individual experiences and parenting styles.

  • Youth Mental Health Workshops

    Wellbeing workshops with specific mental health themes, where art is used as the therapeutic tool to express outcomes. Participants are guided through techniques to create designs or follow along.

  • Bay Theatre Workshop

    Arts workshop catered to suit the creative needs of a local community group.

  • Understand Behaviours

    Workshops created for schools, parents and organisations that work toward understanding behaviours of concern. Drawn on knowledge and experience working as a Behaviour Specialist and Educator, these workshops can be tailored to suit each group.

  • Mother & Daughter/Parent & Child Workshop

    Designed to introduce the use of art as a therapeutic tool while participating in activities and creating art together. Learn more about each other and celebrate your similarities and differences. This guided workshop is designed to create opportunities to further connect, create, and explore while having fun.

  • Seniors Week Workshops

    A series of workshops across the Eurobodalla libraries to celebrate seniors week. Using art as a therapeutic tool to create watercolour images in a safe and nurturing environment.

  • Festivals & Community Events

    Active Art can be found facilitating interactive, creative workshops at local community festivals and events.

  • River Of Art

    Each Year Active Art offers creative workshops in The River of Art Festival as well as open exhibitions.

  • Retreats

    Workshops designed to flow with themed retreats using art as a creative tool.
